Event Description
Joining a startup as its first finance lead can be daunting. It’s the first finance lead’s job to take on the existing financial landscape of the startup, and optimize and scale — or in some cases rebuild from scratch – a financial foundation that will serve the company as it continues to grow.
And for founders, having a solid financial strategy is crucial to scaling successfully. Understanding what to look for in your first finance hire and knowing how to support them can make a significant difference in your startup’s trajectory.
Join Josh Aharanoff (Founder, MightyDigits) and Daniel Kang (VP Finance, Mercury) as they share their advice for founders and early finance hires on building and scaling a finance team.

Topics will include:
-
What a founder should look for in their first finance hire
-
Key priorities for the first finance hire upon entering the organization
-
Strategies for finance leads to scale effectively as the company grows
-
How founders can support their finance leads to drive company growth
Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your startup's financial strategy.
